A night at the studio

It was Thursday, 11th of March. Our group went to Shah Alam, to a small recording studio, to do our 2nd assignment.

We are required to record vocal, instrument, ambience and foley sound. But during our studio session, we're only going to do vocal and instrument.

The studio is located at Shah Alam seksyen 7. We booked the studio for 1 hour, between 9-10pm.


We got Efi, the studio owner, to explains how to get around, using the equipments in the studio. Software we use is Cubase.

This is the isolation room, where the instruments, and vocals are played. Its a soundproofed to keep external sound out.


we got everything ready, now lets start recording!

Our guitarist, Jijoe, will play while we do the recording.

We asked Jijoe to play a couple of times until we got the desired sound.

For the vocals, we have our own recording artist *ehem*, Nabil Zamanhuri to sing us a couple of R&B song. He also sang his original song. We will hear his melodic voice later, in video !

We paid RM40 to use this studio for an hour. It's a small price to pay to get quality recording.

We finished our vocal and instrument recording. We did record in video of our stay there.
